Simple. It’s about writing. My experience doing it, the things that inspire me, the thoughts and observations that spin into characters and plots. Most writers I know keep journals and this will be a distilled version of mine. Not everything of course, but the bits that might pass as interesting. Or maybe just fun blurbs I happen to like at the moment. Other books, because I love thinking and talking and writing about that, other authors, their influence, doing research. Everything about words.
Up to now the postings have been sparse because I’ve been writing a book, but now that it’s done and I’m beginning to incubate something new, you’ll get all the cruddy marrow of it here. It’s an experiment to see if I can connect my creative process with the things I’m doing, seeing, and reading in my day-to-day.
So yeah, it’s about writing. As for me, I’m an aspiring novelist trying to sell my first book. I’m also looking to get into the creative media field, doing freelance copywriting anywhere I can find it, and project management with creative agencies whenever I can.
